At the close of trading on Friday, Mortgage Choice was added to the S&P/ASX 300 Index.

The announcement came as a result of the S&P Dow Jones Indices September quarterly review.

Mortgage Choice is currently in the throes of launching its new financial planning business, so the upgrade comes at a time of significant change for the organisation.

Speaking about the upgrade, Mortgage Choice spokesperson Jessica Darnbrough said it was a pleasing milestone for the company.

“Mortgage Choice officially listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2004 and since that time, gaining a position on the S&P/ASX 300 Index has been one of the company’s goals,” she said.
