Following feedback from clients, Macquarie Wrap is launching fee disclosure statement functionality to help streamline some of the administrative responsibilities that advisers are now required to complete.
The FDS functionality gives advisers the flexibility to customise the statement to align with the services they provide to their clients. Macquarie Wrap will give advisers the option to the use the Macquarie Wrap FDS, their financial planning software FDS or their own templates, supported by Macquarie Wrap’s existing data feeds.
It allows advisers to set up several FDS templates, which can be tailored to reflect the different services they offer through Macquarie Wrap to their different client segments. In addition, the tailored solution enables advisers to include and exclude certain information, and features numerous text fields to add in extra details if required.
The ability to create FDS templates for the various client segments and link multiple accounts to the appropriate template helps to drive efficiency within practices by offering bulk capabilities. Furthermore, advisers can view the last date that an FDS was generated for any particular account.
Cameron Spittle, head of sales – platforms, Macquarie Adviser Services said, “Advisers are going through a significant period of change at the moment, so our first priority has been to deliver a simple solution that helps them to navigate their way through this new environment.”
