A top life insurer has drawn more than 1,000 advisers to its program helping them transition to a hybrid commission model.

AIA said it has seen 1,168 advisers join its transition to hybrid program. The company said the program was designed to help advisers move from up-front commissions to a hybrid commission model.

“We developed our transition to hybrid program in response to feedback from advisers, and it is great that the program has been received so well," AIA Australia’s Chief Retail Insurance Officer Pina Sciarrone said.

AIA claimed advisers taking part in the program can increase the value of their business by as much as 71% by the start of the fourth year, and by as much as 93% by the end of year 10.
