The company said it has entered into a partnership with Cowell Clarke Commercial Lawyers as part of its Accountants Partnership Program for independent accountants. Perpetual said the partnership would support accounting practices who choose to obtain their own limited AFSL.
The partnership will open access to an online portal, Cowell Clarke Connect, giving accountants access to ongoing legal advice, support and tools to keep abreast of legal developments which impact compliance obligations.
Perpetual Private general manager professionals Nathan Jacobsen said the partnership would strengthen the company's suite of support services and tools for accountants, and would help accountants transition to the new licensing framework.
“The ongoing compliance support will greatly benefit accountants, many of whom might still be considering if managing a limited licence is right for their practice," Jacobsen said.
Perpetual has announced a new partnership to support accountants ahead of the licensing deadline.
