Mergers and acquisitions specialists Radar Results has appointed a public accountant and financial planner to its national team in order to help the two professions better.
Public accountant and financial planner Grant Agnew has been appointed to help financial planners and accountants from Brisbane to Cairns more easily sell their business.
Agnew started as a trainee chartered accountant in the Sydney CBD in 1983. After finishing his accounting degree, becoming a tax agent and CPA, he set up his own CPA public accounting business in 1992 and the year after joined Count to build up the financial planning side of his practice.
Agnew was a founding director of Premium Accounting Group, which later became Premium Wealth Management. When he sold his practice in 2013, Premium had around $2b in FUM and 21 member firms.
Radar Results management believe Agnew’s accounting, dealer group and financial planning experience means he is well placed to assist clients achieve successful transactions.
Agnew will be available in Brisbane on 28-29 January and by appointment in other towns and cities.
Queensland has been Radar's busiest state, with currently 23 practices looking to sell, which makes up nearly 30% of its sellers nationally.
