National Australia Bank has just announced it has appointed the new chief executive officer of private wealth management firm JBWere as Justin Greiner.
Greiner joins NAB – which owns the majority of JBWere – from ANZ where he was most recently general manager of wealth transformation. Previous roles at ANZ include head of private NSW and head of advisory.
“With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Justin is a well-respected leader known for his customer centric approach and outstanding commercial acumen,” NAB Wealth EGM for wealth advice John Flavell said.
“His extensive executive experience combined with the capability of the broader NAB Group will allow JBWere to build on its established momentum and deliver an even stronger experience for clients.”
Greiner, who starts the role
in early February, replaces Paul Heath, who resigned in June after 19 years with the company.
Prior to joining ANZ, Greiner was Greenway Capital head of retail and COO. He has also been financial planning head at Westpac and corporate development head at Rothschild Australia Asset Management.
Personal investment and brokerage service JBWere's funds under advice have grown significantly in recent years, particularly in fixed income and global equities, a statement from NAB said.
JBWere is majority-owned by NAB.
